Engineered Garments × câbleami
Japanese hatmakers câbleami are likely familiar to fans of Engineered Garments, and this new collaborative project marks the first time the two companies have worked together.
Inspired by traditional Panama hats, this wide brimmed sun hat is woven with 100% cotton fibres, rather than the traditional toquilla straw of Ecuadorean hats.
The original Engineered Garments design allows the hat to be rolled up for convenience, and hidden velcro adjustment straps for fine-tuning the size. A removable string is attached with small carabiners to secure it around the chin.
A light and supple sun hat perfect for the summer months, with a tall crown that feels distinctively Engineered Garments.
Three colours – natural beige, olive drab and black – will be available from 12 pm on Friday 17th April at Nepenthes London.
