Engineered Garments × Red Wing Heritage 'Irish Setter Remix'

A continuation of subdued detailing and styling, applying a combination of three different leathers; Chrome, Abilene Suede and Prairie in two new colours; Camel Remix and Copper Remix and a return of the successful Triple Black Remix. With the renewal of Red Wing’s Oxford model, Engineered Garments have designed a special edition that reflects the brand's distinctive style, based on this model.
From the moc toe and the storm welt’s big stitches and every other stitch, while the mixed upper may appear uniform from a distance, up close, you can clearly see the unique textures of each leather, each developing its own distinct patina over time, which will be exciting to watch.
This subtle, understated use of detailed craftsmanship is something EG takes great pride in. Additionally, in homage to the Irish Setter, the model’s foundation, they have used the original Irish Setter label on the main tag, and even the shoebox is designed in the original Irish Setter style.
The roots of Irish Setter go back a long way. In the 1920s, the Red Wing Shoe Company introduced “Outing Boots” — strapping 18-inch high boots that were the first styles specifically designed for hunters. Based in Red Wing, Minnesota, Irish Setter is a division of Red Wing Shoe Company which produces a full line of performance hunting boots and rugged outdoor work footwear. Designed by people who are passionate about working in the outdoors, Irish Setter continues to craft boots with leading technologies and the finest materials to offer premium-quality footwear.
