Part of the Nepenthes house, Shiden is a newly launched label drawing inspiration from vintage motorcycles, racing and Japanese subcultures, from bosozoku to MotoGP. These leather trousers feature a black leather construction with contrasting violet panels, padded thigh and knee detailing, angled zip pockets, a front zip fly, belt loops with an adjustable violet leather belt and ankle zips. The term "shiden" is part of the idiom "shiden'issen" (紫電一閃 meaning: violet electricity flash) which refers to a sword flash or a quick brandishing of a sword akin to lightning.
