Track Jacket – Black Bandana Print
Following on from their collaborative projects of previous years, Needles and MIYAGIHIDETAKA have developed a joint capsule for Spring/Summer 2025, celebrating their mutual love for the traditional bandana print.
Channelling the rebellious spirit of Needles, the capsule focuses on themes of signature elements from both brands. The classic American bandana patterning makes its way onto track-wear, accessories and shorts in a fitting way. Overall, the capsule consists of 5 garment styles including the much loved track series, formed of a Track Jacket, Boot-Cut Track Pants, Track Shorts, rounded out with the Book Bag and Bermuda Hat.
*Each scan preserves small details of the original fabric—stains, frays, and textures—transferred onto the final product, capturing its authentic character.
According to Hidetaka Miyagi, his namesake brand operates on season-less grounds. He opts instead to design pieces on a product by product basis, using his own stylistic preferences as inspiration. A large part of Miyagi's work involves taking vintage bandanas and reimagining them as other garments, introducing a high quality, hand-crafted touch to archetypal shapes.
