Field Vest – Leopard Print Polyester
The Engineered Garments Field Vest sources its inspiration from the American outdoor goods companies which developed their products among the extreme conditions of the American West.
Among these was Camp 7, founded in 1971 by George Lamb - who served in the US Army’s Mountain Training Command. Dedicated to making durable and lightweight down-filled parkas, vests, and sleeping bags, they pushed forward the possibilities of trekking gear. Engineered Garments designer Daiki Suzuki follows in the footsteps of these trailblazers, retaining the plethora of details: 3-D pockets, large side pockets, rear pockets, snap buttons and drawcords. However, he removed the down filling and swapped the highly technical materials for seasonal fabric, creating a completely unique item. Highly practical, this vest has everything, and can be easily layered both inside outerwear or outside a jacket.
