Part of the Nepenthes house, Shiden is a newly launched label drawing inspiration from vintage motorcycles, racing and Japanese subcultures, from bosozoku to MotoGP.
This racing cap features an eye-catching embroidered “Shiden” (紫電) kanji logo on the front, alongside a slightly longer brim and shallow silhouette. Made from polyester, it has a lightweight, sporty finish.
The term "shiden" is part of the idiom "shiden'issen" (紫電一閃 meaning: violet electricity flash) which refers to a sword flash or a quick brandishing of a sword akin to lightning.
