The H.D. Short is a knee-length version of the popular H.D. Pant; the same darted shaping is used to create a ballooning, voluminous appearance. H.D. stands for hiza deru (膝出る, 'knee goes out'). The linen/rayon blend is printed with a special papillon device developed for the 'Komon' capsule collection, inspired by historical kimono patterning.
