The 7 Cuts Shirt is the core of the Rebuild by Needles project, which remakes vintage clothing into unique "one of one" pieces. Every shirt is built in Japan from 7 second hand shirts. Details vary from piece to piece, with pockets often overlapping and yokes and hems varying in length.
The overdyed models are dyed after being constructed, giving them a more uniform colour palette of red, green or black.
The 'Wide' model has an exaggerated shape with extra panels added at the sides.
