Aviator Jacket – Black Flight Satin Nylon
The Engineered Garments Aviator Jacket reimagines the classic American military flight jacket, drawing on the utilitarian design of the A-2, B-15, MA-1 and CWU-7/P. Taking particular inspiration from the CWU-7/P, a cotton-twill jacket developed for Air Force aircraft maintenance crews in the 1960s and 1970s, it blends military heritage with modern functionality.
The relaxed silhouette features raglan sleeves, a straight waistband, high slanted welt pockets and a zippered bicep utility pocket sized for pens, pencils, cigarettes and other small essentials. Reinforced elbow panels add durability, while a two-way front zipper concealed beneath a snap-button storm placket completes the design. Fully lined, the jacket features a low standing collar and elasticated cuffs.
