Otakara NYC is a new brand produced by Nepenthes. Founded by New York–based hand-embroidery artist Satoshi Suzuki, the brand creates embroidered pieces inspired by New York culture.

The name “Otakara,” which means “treasure” in Japanese, reflects the brand’s intention for each piece to become something meaningful to its wearer. Through handmade craftsmanship, the label transforms personal memories and cultural references into wearable art.

Created exclusively for Nepenthes, this limited-edition collection offers a series of tie-dye and batik printed T-shirts inspired by New York culture.
