Shooting Jacket – Brown Waxed Cloth

Needles presents its take on the Shooting Jacket. Originating in mid-19th-century England, the shooting jacket evolved from the Norfolk jacket—a belted, pleated tweed garment popularised in the 1860s for hunting and other country pursuits. Designed with functionality in mind, it featured action pleats, shoulder patches, and large pockets. By the 20th century, later versions began incorporating more durable, waterproof, and lightweight materials.
This interpretation draws from those original forms, reimagined with a collarless, button-down front. The jacket features wide front pockets and cartridge pockets on the chest, and is finished with custom Needles patches placed throughout the garment.
